Inserting Images

Images on your site can play a big role in the look and feel you want to extend to your visitors. Also, by naming your images accurately your search engine ranking can be improved.

Adding images to your site is easy thanks to the Image tool located on the top toolbar of your Content Editor. The Image tool is one of the most commonly used features on our platform's content editor. With it, you can insert pictures, add borders, and change the size and style of an image.
What's Needed?
Before an image can be inserted onto a page, it is important to make sure that the image has been uploaded to the File Storage Area. If the image isn't in there, the following instructions won't work.
Step 1:
Acess the screen to edit the page on which you would like to place the image. One thing to keep in mind is that images align a bit like text, so, a you'll be off to a great start if you click on the place where you would like to see the image appear.
Step 2:
Click on the  (Image) icon on the top toolbar of your content editor to open the Image Tool (shown below). Click the Browse Server icon to open the File Storage area and view your file .
Step 3:
Locate your image in the File Storage area. You might notice that your file storage area opens in 'Drop Mode' - when in this mode, you'll just need to click on the silver drop mode icon on the right. It looks like this:
Step 4:
You should now be directed back to the Image Tool window and the URL field will be filled in with the file location. Here you are able to make any desired adjustments to the display using the available fields. Click the OK when finished.

Alignment - At the bottom of the Image interface, you will see a preview of how the inserted image will be aligned in your content area. Click the Alignment drop-down menu to choose an alignment that best suits your needs.

Border - Border is an option that enables a frame surrounding your image. Click the Border Style button to enter the Border Style interface. Choose a border from the first section, then choose a pixel width from the next section. The third section lets you choose how the border will be displayed. Lastly, click on the Pick button from the color section to choose a color for your border.

Width & Height - Enter a numeric value in the Width & Height fields to resize your image to the desired pixel size. Note: Changing the size of your image can affect the quality of your image after it has been inserted.

Spacing - This option places an invisible margin around your image. Enter a numerical value in the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right fields to enable. Any changes using the Spacing option will appear in the preview window at the bottom of the Image interface.
